magnificent big sculpture of Lord Hanuman is located at DIVALI NAGAR, a site on
John Peters Road Extension off the Uriah Butler Highway, Chaguanas town in Trinidad and Tobago twin
island country of South America (outside of India).
Divali Nagar (City of Lights) is an annual
exposition of Hindu culture (broadly) and Indo-Trinidadian culture
(specifically), it is associated with the celebration of Diwali in Trinidad
and Tobago. The exposition is staged at the Divali Nagar Site, located in the borough of Chaguanas.
The Borough
of Chaguanas is one of the fastest growing town and largest borough in Trinidad
and Tobago, located in Central Trinidad. Chaguanas became a Borough in 1990,
previous to that it was part of the County of Caroni. It is located about 35 kms
south of the country capital city Port of Spain and 57 kms north of San
Fernando with Caparo River running through it. Chaguanas is bounded by Monroe
Road Cunupia on the north and Longdenville on the east.
