Posture sculpture of Lord Anjaneya Swamy is located at well known historical city Amaravathi in the famous Shirdi Sai temple complex under Guntur district
in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located around 32 kms north from
district headquarters Guntur and 271 kms from the state capital city Hyderabad.
Amaravathi is
belongs to Andhra region and situated on the southern bank of River Krishna.
Amaravathi (or
Amaravati) translates to ‘The
town which lives on forever’ in the local language. It is also
referred as Amareswaram,
for its famous Amareswara temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, one of the
famous Pancharamas. It was formerly known as Andhra Nagari.
