(Central Reserve Police Force), Neemuch (or Nimach) town belongs to Malwa
region under Neemuch district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.
Neemuch was
the birthplace of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in 1939 and
is home to a large scale army recruitment centre for the organization. The CRPF
still maintains part of Neemuch's British Military Cantonment, which was the
first of its kind in India.
One of the
main temples of Neemuch is Shri Kileshwar Mahadev Temple which hosts yearly
the Shivaratri festival where thousands of devotees flock to the
temple for the Darshan of Lord Shiva.
