Big idol of
Lord Hanumanji is located in the campus area of Sukhanand Mahadev Temple at Sukhanand
village belongs to Jawad tehsil under Neemuch (or Nimach) district in the
Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It comes under Sukhanand Naya Panchayath and
belongs to Ujjain division. It is located 20 kms towards north from district
head quarters Neemuch and 350 kms from the state capital city Bhopal. This
place is in the border of Neemuch district & Chittorgarh district of
Rajasthan means near to the Rajasthan state border.
Sukhanand
Mahadev Temple was the Shukdev Ashram in earlier built by Rishi Shukdevji (son
of Veda Vyasa, writer of the India’s Great Epic Mahabharat) which is more of an
ancient rock-cave. The word Sukhanand means peace & joy so you are
definitely going to enjoy the place. Public transport is available for the
temple so reaching spot is not difficult task. People also refer this place as
Nilkanth Mahadev temple.
