Karmanghat Hanuman Temple is a very popular temple located at Karmanghat on the
way to Sagar Ring Road in the Telangana state capital city Hyderabad. This
temple is dedicated to Pawanputra Hanuman, the greatest devotee of Bhagwan Shri
Ram, is one of the oldest temples in Hyderabad. Karmanghat is a residential and commercial suburb in Hyderabad
located at a distance of about 10 kms from Mahatma Gandhi bus terminal of
Hyderabad and 23 kms from Secunderabad bus station well accessible by road. It
is bordered by the Inner Ring Road on one side and encompasses part of the
Bairamal Guda Road which connects it to NH-9 via Bairamal Guda Bypass Road. This
famous temple was constructed in 12th century, more than 850 years ago (approximately
in the year 1143).
