Shree Kailash Kuti

Big sculpture of Bade Hanuman Ji is situated in Shree Kailash Kuti at an ancient town Dewas in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Dewas lies northeast of Indore, southeast of Ujjain and southwest of Shajapur.
Dewas is located about 35 kms from Indore, the commercial capital of the state.
Shree Kailash Kuti is situated on Mumbai-Agra National Highway, Gomti Nagar in Dewas.
The word Dewas is a sandhi of words ‘Dev’ deity and ‘Vas’ Marathi for abode, thus Dewas means ‘Abode of the Deity or God or Goddess’. There is a Devi Vaishini hill in the city, commonly known as Tekri.
