Beautiful
idol of Lord Hanumanji is located outside the most famous Mahalakshmi Temple at
Mumbai in the Indian state of Maharashtra.
Mahalakshmi Temple, one of the most famous temples of Mumbai, is situated at north
of the Malbar Hill on Bhulabhai Desai Road in Mahalakshmi Area.
It is only 1 km from Mahalaxmi Railway Station in Mumbai. The temple was
built in 1831 by Dhakji Dadaji (1760–1846), a Hindu merchant.
This temple
is dedicated to the three deities as Shree Mahakali or Durga (Destroyer of Demon),
Shree Mahalakshmi (Goddesses of Wealth) and Shree Mahasaraswati (Goddesses of
Learning).
This temple
is visited by thousands of people during Navratri festival. If you visit this
place then do not miss the beautiful view of Arabian Sea from backside of the
temple.
There are
two more temples viz. Tryambakeshwar temple and Dhakleshwar mahadev temple near
to this temple.
