Avadhoota Datta Peetham, SGS Ashrama

70 feet height tallest monolithic statue of Sri Karyasiddhi Hanuman is located at Avadhoota Datta Peetham, Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashrama, Datta Nagar, Ooty Road, Mysore (officially renamed as Mysuru) in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is located at the base of Chamundi Hills and 146 kms southwest of the state capital city Bangalore.
Lord Hanuman statue is in standing position and has been chiseled out from 90 tones grey granite rock brought from Andhra Pradesh state.
Sri Ganapathy (or Ganapati) Sachchidananda Ashrama (in short called SGS Ashrama) is founded in 1966. It is located at the base of Chamundi Hills and spread over 30 acres of land.
